23-year-old Tuscon police officer Kyle McCartin was arrested by Pima County sheriff’s deputies after he pulled a gun and threatened the clerk of a convenience store. The incident was recorded on the store’s surveillance camera. In the video, the police officer and his unidentified friend both appear to be wearing some kind of tactical vests — possibly bulletproof vests. Officer McCartin was fired by TPD after a brief investigation.
